My Review Of The Hot Tools Curling Iron
My Hot Tools Curling Iron Review
While everyone with curls and waves are trying to straighten their hair, there are those of us who have dead straight hair that we would dearly love to curl or wave. I have hair that doesn’t take highly to perms, dropping them out within a day. My hair dresser has spent long hours trying to resolve this and I have spent a fortune until I finally picked up a great little item, the Hot Tools curling iron.
Part of my problem is that my hair is exceptionally thick and heavy. Being a redhead, my hair gets heavier as it grows longer and so curls and waves really have little chance to stay for long. Even when dampened or allowed to dry naturally, it makes no difference. Of course, many people love it, but I wanted a change and being able to add curls and waves that lasted for at least two days was a blessing in my books.

So, how did I achieve such wonderful curls with my Hot Tools curling iron? Well, besides some good setting lotion and curling agent, more time was spent on just putting in quick curls than spending hours trying to redo them. These are some of the amazing things that my curling iron has given me:
- a two inch barrel for large curls that i can style as I wish
- complete instructions on how to deal with hard to curl hair
- eighty five watts of continuous power and heat
- a special stand for avoiding accidents and dropping my curling iron in the sink or toilet
- a very long grip so i can hold on without losing my grip
- special heat controls to allow me to control the temperature
- a heating element that remains consistently hot
I do have to put in more effort no doubt than those whose hair takes to curls and waves easily. I have been able to cut my curling time down to at least half an hour versus the hour or more that I once had to endure. I can set the curling iron up, get dressed and even before I’ve started putting on my socks, my curling iron is red hot and ready to go. A bright indicator light lets me know that it is ready and I simply just start curling. So, if you want a good curling iron, the Hot Tools curling iron is ideal for anyone who wants big curls, even with hard to curl hair like mine.
